Recital Practice

- She sat upon a bench within the garden, a lyric stand sitting infront of her with papers on it for her to read. Within her hands was her flute, which was placed up to her lips. Blowing into the flute she began to play out the tune that was written on the lyric sheets. The soft sweet melody filled the air with a rather illustrious happy beat to it. -

Days had pass by since the last time he actually got to hold his mate in his arms. He missed her terribly and at the same time, he knew he had to do his duties to his Kingdom and his family. He was sleeping during the days and patroling during the night. In the early mornings he was off watching over the new Marketplace and the Forest but there had been anymore reports of animal attacks or anything "unusual" happenings since the leeches attacked Marcia and Aria. His mother had left off on anot her diplomatic venture and Marcia was in charge once again, which meant more work for him because for some reason Marcia seemed to forget about the minor things whenever she was left incharge and the guards. Yet, Alexi and Cresent seemed to have all that under control. Tylol was also helping out with more indept study of Moonelf City, her findings were quite impressive. It was infact Tylol that had informed him that he looked like death worn over and sent him to his room to rest. If he could rest would be one thing, Markus got incredibly anity whenever he got too tired and sleep wasn't something that came too easily. He was heading to his room when he heard the flute.

He smiled, the scent of Taki was overwelming and the sound of her flute was even more intoxicating. Slipping into the room, he leaned against the wall, arms crossed and head forward as usual. A smile on his features while he listened to her play. She had gotten amazing good with that flute over the small amount of time she'd been practicing. She was amazing.. and he was his. His smile widen as he closed his eyes and actually drifted to sleep standing up against the wall, letting her presence overwelm and calm her.

- Her nostrils flared as Markus' scent filled the air, her eyes shifted from the lyrics on the stand infront of her over towards his position. She continued to play her flute as she gave a smile to him. Strumming out the lyrics of the song on her flute continued as she slowly started to stand. The song she strummed slowly got quieter as she brought it to an end. Setting the flute upon the lyrics stand, she had noted that he drifted into a slumber so her steps were very quiet as she approached him. As she got close to him, her hand lifted to gently touch and caress his cheek. She spoke in a soft whisper to him, though he was sleeping. -

Mmm... Ello my love...

- Her hand would move from his face as the other rose from her side, slipping her arms about his torso she would lightly pull on him to have him rest against her so she could move him to a bench so he could lay if he choose instead of stand. Her actions would be slow and careful as to try and not distrub him to much, but he was still bigger then her so it was quite a feat to be trying to accomplish. -

*The minute the flute stopped, his eyes opened and he watched her with the usual dark gaze. Jet black eyes followed her every move then pressed his cheek against her hand then simply followed her to sit down. He was bigger then her, but she was older and wiser.*

Please keep playing..?

*He laid against her on the bench and closed his eyes again. He needed to talk to her about some things but it was just nice to be near her and not worried about advisers or any other kind of work. He just wanted to be near her and relaxed*

- After sitting with him she gave a soft smile and slow nod. Picking up the flute again she flipped through the lyrics book to a different song to play. Settling back a little as he laid against her, she rested her head against his as she placed the flute to her lips. She could sense something was amiss but figured when he was ready he'd talk to her, until then she'd continue playing her flute for him. A slow inhale was drawn in through her mouth before being released from her lips into the mouth of the flute. A gentle harmony began to fill the air as she played a gentle lullaby of sorts. -
