Irving paced the anteroom of the royal hall.. just within its open doors. He had sent a messenger to deliver a diplomatic message, but had come himself to try and bring greater light to the situation... He kept his composure... even as he paced almost impatiently, waiting for a chance to speak to someone of the ruling class

ooc: Its okay hun, we can still build from there Smile

The man who was with him, one who seemed to visibly armed to the teeth in bladed weaponry, but who still moved with a feline's grace and looked relaxed... well as relaxed as any lion ready to strike, moved forward, cleared his throat demurely and spoke..

"I present Irving of House Valeria; Lord of Valeria and of Eur; uncrowned King of Eurak, Guardian of the Blighted Border; Blade Lord of the Frozen North; First Prince of the Sword of Ai-"

Irving silenced the man with a hard -

"- enough, Duelist!"

Before he could finish saying Airuza..

"I come personally bearing a convoy of trade in unison with our treaty of alliance"

He motioned to the rather large wagons outside

"Ten tons of blood gold in fifteen pound ingots; ten sacks of blood diamonds; three full wagons of mountain fleece and another three of preserved goat and bovine milk, and lastly, two tons of purified mythril in 5 pound ingots and one ton of whitesteel in the same manner - there are a few bundles of assorted weapons and tools already made for use."

He retrieved two scrolls from his person and handed them to her..

"The first scroll is a list of names of tradesmen and workers who have been evacuated from Airuza who can help with teaching how to smelt and temper the steel and gold"

He seemed anxious despite the cool dangerous collectiveness of his companion and his own apparent titles... he shifted his feet and watched her... the other scroll was sealed with the Sovereign crest of the Kaisarch... throughout northern history such were only given out in the most greatest of accomplishments or the most dire of needs

Ty's eyes widen at all the "gifts" before she seemed to snap back to reality and motion for a few guards to come forward. Some servants were quick to come to her side as well*

You three, take these things to the treasury. You three, you will gather some more helpers and take these to the Forge. You four, take these to the Advisors. Quickly now.

*They saluted or bowed then hurried to carry out their duties as Tylol turned to man and bowed again*

I am sure that Her Myjesty will be overwelmed by such generousity. But, we both know there is much more then what appears on the surface. If you will follow me Lord Valeria, I shall esort you to Queen Atara so you my discuss your business with her... please?

*She motioned for him to follow her to the back of the main hall and into a narrow hallway, leading off towards another chamber. It would appear to be a enclosed balcony that overlooked the center Garden. Atara sat on a lush cushion surrounded by four other ladies in waiting, combing her hair, doing her nails or rubbing oils on her skin. Tylol motioned for him to wait just outside the room then stepped in. Their voices muffled until Atara stood and wrapped a robe about her figure then motioned the womena way. One by one the women passed him, covering their smile and giggles before Tylol and Atara remained. Ty stepped up to him once more giving the fleeing girls a scolding look before smiling to him*

This way m'lord..

*She lead him onto the room that seemed nothing more but a glass enclosure and yet obilivious to those outside in the Garden. Atara, who had been relaxing, motioned for him to come before her as she brushed her hair from her features and Tylol took a seat next to her. A deep voice surrounded them as she spoke*

So.. Lord Valeria. How can I be of service to you?

Troubles to the North Empty
PostSubject: Re: Troubles to the North   Troubles to the North Icon_minitimeFri Jul 27, 2007 1:32 am

As close to Royal blood as he was he still took a knee, lightly gauntleted fist pressed to his chest as he inclined his head a moment before looking up..

"The outer walls look of char, highness, and the stones bear the marrs of battle, so I am wary in bringing my missive... but I bring word from Airuza.

Word of impending War"

He rose and composed himself..

"We have heard of an army that marches upon us from the north, it is said that they are men and humanoid, but they come from a direction in which nothing but demonic shadowspawn has come from in over ten thousand years. An army that raises its dead and fight with magic as well as steel"

He shifted his feet..

"We have withdrawn the expeditionary force we were going to send to the lands North of here, they were to build an outpost so as to more well-defend the passage to the North continent and more easily help our allies.. but now our home is threatened with a far more dangerous enemy..

In short, though I am loathed to ask such a thing in a presently peaceful time... we need any help we could get, especially from the Lords of the Air"

She heard Tylol gasp beside her, knowing her thoughts but didn't show that she cared to hear anything her right hand had to say. Her features remained stoney and impassive even as she thought over her words and the situation. True, war was still very much upon them. Trina had announced her declaration of war with her daughter missing, despite the fact that they had not taken Trianna or some bird Trina was harping about. If the bird was not produced soon, Trina would stop all threats and attack again. Atara stood, pulling the robe tighter around her shoulders*

I see the predicament that you are in, and I extend this Kingdoms hospitality. A room shall be supplied to you and your escort to rest for the night.

*She walked towards him and motioned for him to straighten and stand. Airuza.. that was the home of her Linden was it not? Linden, whom she had not seen in many moons now. She blocked him for her mind*

By dawn, Princess Marcia and her men shall be ready to follow you back to Airuza and offer you the support that you need. I understand that it may not seem like much, but it what I can spare at this time from what we already have here. My daughter has one thousand dragon warriors at her summoning. I do hope they can be service to you. Within a weeks time, if things are fine here, I will personally lead my own army to your defense while my son and Generals remain here. They are MORE then capable in handling Trina's demons, and with Tylol here to aide with any magical enhancements that may need to be done, I'm sure my not being here will not be a deciding factor.

*She turned, looking out the window again*

Marcia's magic should be well enough for what you have asked in this battle. She is the best mage we have here in Palanestina. Also, I shall have the servant perpare some of our demonic armor to transport back with you.

He rose and nodded in fervant thanks..

"I give my thanks, highness.."

He looked to the window then back to her..

"Some of the trade items I have brought with me may hopefully help against your demonic disturbance... Mythril and whitesteel generally slice through demonspawn like a hot knife through butter.

I pray your forgiveness, it is the best I can do as a first set of thanks from Airuza."

He had brought Channellers with him - to cut open that magical gateway back accross the oceans to Airuza - but they were predominantly men and mostly unstable... his small entourage of High Duelists would come with him to the room

"Again I thank you...
