How does one become a member of the Ophidian Realm [Guardians, Ulthwe Kingdom, Amazon Tribe, Telayr Jahhelz Kingdom, or even guilds.]?
First you will need to seek out the leaders of each of the places. If one is not found or no information is given to you by anyone of the area then you can chat mail me, [MyriamBrodwick], with the objectives and ideals that you wish to add into the RP.
Do we have to join one kingdom or are we free to roam around all of the Ophids?
You are free to join any kingdom in the Ophids, or are free to roam around without joining any kingdom.
How does one gain more status/higher ranks?
Well, that all depends on the amount of RPing you do. How many people you help, and what exactly it is you are trying to achieve. Most of the time you will need to converse with the head of the rank you wish to attain.
How does one attain any land in the Ophidian Realm?
That must be petitioned to the Council of Ulthwe for they are the ruling kingdom. You must be sure to give them reasons on why you wish the land, how much land you wish, and where you wish your land to be.
How do spells work?
Spells that are bought in the stores work through the spell function. They are there for RP Adventures in which they can be used to help in the battles, during an RP adventure players are given 3 free spells of their choice for the duration of the entire adventure, so choose wisely. You must type at least one sentence before casting the spell describing what it is your casting or doing.
Is the only magic allowed the type that is on that we must buy?
No, most people have learned magic before they came to the realm. Store bought spells are for RP Adventures.
How can I tell how much mana I have used for a spell?
You have unlimited mana to cast spells that are bought. Once you cast a spell it is no longer usable till you repurchase it from the store.
Do innate abilities work? Example: a dragon's breath attack.
In a free forum fight all abilities work, when in an RP Adventure natural abilities are allowed if they are truly innate to the creatures abilities.
Can players buy and sell things to/from other players?
At this time that is not an available function, the only thing that can be exchanged between players currently is gold. And that function is down being fixed.
How can I restore my health?
Using herbs will restore your health, along with the healing spells.
What are herbs for? How do we use them?
Herbs are for healing, you use them like you would use a spell.
How does one gain gold? experience?
To gain extra gold and experience, one goes on quests or RP adventures that is ordered by a higher official of the realm.
What is the highest level available?
The highest level available to all chatters is level 3. Level 4 is for Officials (moderators), and Level 5 is for the Ruling Party only.
What are badges and how do we get them?
Badges signify the things you have done and are doing in the kingdom. They also signify your status within the realm.
How do guilds work?
Guilds are like schools, when you join one you learn things that guild is specialized for. Also, you are registered to be in that line of work. So you won't receive as much hassel as you would without being registered. There are some perks to joining the guilds and some downfalls.
Example: Thieves Guild, if you are a thief and not registered you will be watched like a hawk. Where as if you are apart of the Thieves Guild, you will not be watched like a hawk.
How do you fight with another being?
Free forum fighting, if you are fighting with another creature/person, you take turns. One person posts what they are doing in the fight and their attempt to harm the other person, then the second person posts a response and retaliation to the first person.
If a character can shift forms, must they buy multiple suits of armor for each form?
No. All armor has magic embedded into it where it shifts with the form of its wearer. Example:
A dragon in human form wears the armor as is.
A dragon in draconian form (half-dragon/half-human) will still be wearing armor, it would have shifted to reshape automatically around the new form of its wearer.
A dragon in dragon form, the armor will disappear into the dragon's scales giving a bonus to the dragon's natural armor defenses.
Are swords, shields, and armor automatically equipped?
Yes, each item that you purchase is automatically equiped and added to your profile.
How can I find out what the special ability of a piece of equipment I just bought is?
If an item has a special ability it can be found under the spell select area.
How can I participate with our allies?
By visiting their realm and interacting with them.
How many characters can I have?
At this time, it is one character per account. Currently, you are allowed to have 5 accounts. Hopefully the changes will be adjusted soon as to where you can have 5 characters per account. Once that is implimented the restriction of character amount will be changed.
Am I limited to the races you have listed when creating a character?
When first creating your character yes you are limited to the list. If you wish to play a specialized character you must send a castle mail to MyriamBrodwick, requesting the specialized race. Reason that is, is because some races in the Ophids are specialy created by certain people and they have gained the privelage to keep it specialized.
How does marriage work in these realms?
Before consideration of marriage, courtship must take place for 6 months in real life, must be taken to the High Priestess, and then to complete a quest to prove the willingness of bonding. If you have succeeded in the quest to prove your willingness, then you aquire the Marriage Badge.

Yes, characters are allowed to be intimate, but remember to do so in private.
Where can I go for some "alone time' with my in-game husband/wife?
Most rooms are available for couples to go to in order to spend some time with 'em. If your looking for that specific 'alone time', then I'd suggest the bedrooms.
Me and my in-game husband/wife want a child. Anything special we have to do?
Pregnancy can only be considered after 3 real live months of approved marriage. Once approved, the pregnancy will last the full 10 months in real life. When it is time, the High Priestess will over see the pregnancy. Sorry it takes so long but we don't want a pregnant one day and then baby the next.

Go on a quest, or do an RP Adventure. Otherwise be patient and gain your 10 gold once a day you log in.
Someone is is annoying the heck out of me, what should I do?
Ask them to stop, if they refuse report it to a Official (moderator).
I was just "escorted by a Royal Guard." What happened?
Depends, a royal guard will escort you out of the chat if you have exceeded the time limit for being idle. A royal guard will also escort you out of the chat if you have done something wrong and been "zapped". Another reason a Royal Guard would escort you is if you have been summoned by the queen or have been convicted of a crime.
What is the message board for?
The message board hasn't really been used for quite some time, but it is for those that cannot go into the chat to RP.
What is the "War Games" section for?
The War Games is for your OOC enjoyment to goof around with fellow members of the chat.

Yes, just go to the function to change rooms and click down to find "Last Messages", then click the select button to check the last recent messages.
